Whereas, the member who continues to enjoy the benefits and services supported by Staples beyond the date of modification will be regarded as accepting the new Service Terms. 4. Membership Privacy

But in the following 4 cases, Staples will consider it necessary to release part of the information on the base of good faith or permitted by law.

5. Security of Member Account and Password
Once customer(s) has finished membership registration, he/she will get his/her own account and password. Please note that it is his/her own responsibility to remember the account and password. Furthermore, he/she should take full responsibility for all the events that related to the account. Customer may change the password whenever he/she wishes, or even renew the existing account with a new one. Please contact us immediately if customer detects any security bugs or illegal application of the membership account.

6. Disclaimer of Assurance
It is Staples members' own duty to hold the possible risks related to the information service provided by Staples. Staples does not guarantee the continuity, punctuality, security and accuracy of any contents displayed or implied on its website. However, we shall keep the Site as error free as possible.

7. Limitation of Liability
In no case shall Staples be responsible for any direct, indirect, occasional, special or consequential damages caused by a member's incorrect operations, including but not limited to, incorrect application of the website, bad news spread or transmission, etc. All the things mentioned above may result in the damage of Staples's name, so we put forward to notice and see to avoid such occurrences.

8. Restriction and Maintenance of Information
Staples has the right to judge whether a member's behavior complies with the terms and conditions of Staples.com. Nevertheless, Staples reserves the right to terminate his/her member account in the case that a member violates our service terms and conditions. Any member who does not login, check or use his/her account within an interval of 360 days will be regarded as having given up his/her account.

9. Membership Management
All Staples members are required to obey the following rules:
(1) Comply with the Laws of P.R.China when sending or transmitting data through Internet.
(2) Never use the web service for any illegal purposes.
(3) Never interfere or disturb the website service.
(4) Observe all the network protocols, contracts, programs and regulations of web service system. The guideline of members should be based on the Internet laws, policies, programs and regulations.

10.Guarantee
All Staples members must agree to ensure that their behavior won't cause any damages to the legal benefits of Staples and its entire staff. The member should afford the cost, including but not limited to, the legal fees caused by the member's illegal use of Staples.com, the cost related to any 3-rd party's use of the member's PC, membership account with or without the member's consent, and the cost arising from any action, claim, lawsuit, investigation or procedures to protect Staples's intellectual property whenever the member's behavior directly or indirectly causes risks or damages to it.

11.Termination of Service
Staples reserves the right to terminate one or more items of its service terms offered to its members at any time, meanwhile, each Staples member can cancel his rights of having services from Staples at his/her discretion. Members who do not accept Staples's Terms of Service, including the concerned amendments, or feel unsatisfied with our service, can take immediate action as follows:
(1) Stop his/her own use of the information service provided by Staples.
(2) Inform Staples that don't provide him/her with the related service at once.
The member will no longer have the rights of enjoying services from Staples once membership is terminated. From then on, Staples takes no responsibility to these members and the members won't have any rights to use the service of Staples.

12. Notice
Staples will issue all the notices by the way of broadcasting on some important web pages, sending Emails or by mail delivery. The notices include but are not limited to the news related to amendment of service terms, adjustment of service, and other critical issues that Staples member may be concerned with.
